Description
Newly Renovated Room in Wallisellen
I'm subletting my room in our house in Wallisellen this summer, from around June 15th to July 31st. The dates are a bit flexible, so if your plans are a few days off, let me know and we can see if it works.
**Some details**
The house is a two-story place with a nice garden, and our landlords are friendly - they sometimes even surprise us with snacks! My room is on the second floor and it's a good size, about 20 square meters. It feels new because it was just fully renovated last winter, and the kitchen is brand new. The room gets plenty of light when you open the windows, which is great. I'll be leaving all the furniture you see in the pictures, so you'll have a bed, desk, bookshelves, a wardrobe, and a lamp.
You'd be sharing the house with around 3 to 5 people, mostly students from ETH and ZhDK. They're all easygoing and responsible, so it's a relaxed atmosphere. We've got a shared kitchen (which is well-equipped - oven, microwave, the works, plus all the dishes and stuff), four bathrooms (you'd mostly use the two upstairs), a living room, a laundry room, and even an attic for storage. We've also got a vacuum cleaner and an iron for everyone to use. The Wi-Fi and heating are included in the rent, though you probably won't need the heating much in summer!
The house is in a quiet residential area, and the neighbors are nice. It's in a convenient spot too. It's about a 9-minute walk (or a quick 4-minute bus ride) to the Wallisellen train station. From there, you can easily find supermarkets, banks, post offices, and restaurants. If you walk just a bit further (like 5 more minutes), you'll reach the Glatt shopping mall. Plus, it's only two train stops (about 9 minutes) to Zurich HB, the main station. If you're studying at ETH, it's around a 30-minute commute.
**Sublet information**
The sublet would be from June 15th to July 31st, but if your dates are slightly different, just reach out and we can chat. The rent is 950 CHF a month, but I'm open to discussing the price, especially if you're interested in taking the room for the whole period. All the utilities (water, electricity, internet) are included in that price. I'm looking for someone who is quiet, clean, and considerate of the other people living here. **Non-smoker is required.**
If this sounds like it could be a good fit for you, please tell me more about you! I'm happy to answer any questions you have.
