A house with a private garden, fireplace, BBQ place, storage attic
I spend there around 20 % of time (staying abroad + working in an office), but I love the house, so I don't want to leave it completely. When I'm not there, it's all yours (except for my workroom).
It is not a contemporary (high) standard. It is the oldest building in Dietikon, but completely reconstructed inside in 1990's. Very quiet, sunny, very satisfying if you like to have a garden, work outside, and very romantic as it is kind of a farm style (wooden, fireplace, tiled stove (Kachelofen), attic, ...) I will add some images later, or can show on demand (because there are people on them).
The flat is oriented south-east, sunny until 6pm - but not hot inside. The location is 900m from the Bahnhof Dietikon, 50m from Oberdorf bus stop.
The price depends on if you rent one or two rooms, on how much you would be there. My goal is not to make the most money on this, but to reduce the burden of the rent (which is over 3000 CHF / month).
The price also depends what temperature you are comfortable with. That's quite important because it's heated up with wood. Like, literally, you bring the wood to the Kachelofen and it burns there. :) (My family was living here for 4 years and it's completely fine and comfortable. But some experience with heating this way is recommended.) The costs of the wood would be included in the rent.
Furniture: There is some and I can provide more, depending on your needs. Or you can bring yours, provided you take it away when you finish your stay ;-)
No pets allowed (by the Vervaltung). Ruhezeit strictly observed (by a neighbor). Smoking strictly not. Since we will be co-inhabiting the downstairs, I am looking for an easy-going person with good cleaning habits, including the kitchen (which I do not use much) and the bathroom. You have to be an insured Swiss resident (a student, a worker, a citizen, ...). You should speak English (or Czech ;-) ) Gardening is possible and welcome.
